Update

We are enjoying every minute of our last week here. But, we are definitely not ready to leave! :( We are so thankful that the Lord made it possible for us to work here this summer. It is amazing how when we try to minister to others, we are actually blessed ourselves. God has been so good to us! We have had 200 diapers given to us, baby food, bags of clothes for Havilah, a new battery for our car, gifts of money, and many other blessings! It was also exciting to meet so many believers of all different nationalities--here in one city! It is definitely something each of you should experience one day! :)

We will be back at Memorial Baptist Church in Brooklyn this Sunday. Then, we will head home Sunday after the services, stop Sunday night and finish the drive on Monday. Please pray for safety as we travel! We love you all and pray for you too!

Thanks so much for keeping us in prayer! God does hear and answer prayer...we have experienced that hundreds of times this summer!

Week 8: Corona, Queens

Havilah has a friend to play with this week. The youth pastor and his wife from PA have a little girl that is 2 months older than Hava. Here they are getting to know each other at the street meeting. They sat in their strollers the whole time!

I forgot to bring Havilah's nuk, so I had to run in a pharmacy and buy one. This one was pretty neat--it closes when it drops so it doesn't get dirty. :)

Week 8 Update!

We are back in Corona, Queens this week! A youth group from PA will be joining us as well. We have many exciting ministry opportunities planned. Please pray that God would use us as a vessels for Him, and also that we would be a great testimony to the teens that are working with us. We are so thrilled to be serving the Lord this week!

Franklin Square, Long Island

We just finished a great week of evangelism in the mornings and VBS in the evenings! The VBS went from 6pm till 8:30pm. So, we had a very long, but exciting week! More than 90 children attended the VBS throughout the week. We were also able to start a bus route for the church. Daniel and some of the other team members were able to have a special service for the bus kids at church today. We are praying that the church will be able to keep that ministry up!

We have had a little access to the internet these past 2 weeks, but not with our computer. So, that is why I haven't been able to post pictures in awhile. Sorry! We know you all want to see Havilah! :) Hopefully, this coming week I'll be able to post some more!
