December 2009 Update!

What better way to start out the month of December, than to spend a week in NYC? We are so thankful for the opportunity to spend some more time in New York. This was the first time we have been there in the winter. It was a great blessing and encouragement to visit with our friends at Memorial Baptist Church in Brooklyn. We were also able to meet some of the pastors and churches here, and Daniel was able to lead the singing for the Brooklyn Christmas Singspiration. Praise the Lord for blessings He always brings our way—right when we need them. These last few months have been very busy for us, so we were very grateful for a wonderful and semi-relaxing month!

We have also been able to spend some more time with our home church here in Milwaukee, which is always a blessing! We are eager to serve the Lord in any way we can during our time on deputation. We have been able to work with our teens again, and Daniel had the opportunity to preach at the New Year’s Eve service. Praise the Lord for Manuel, a young teen that Daniel was able to lead to the Lord after one of the services.

Please pray for more meetings in 2010. We are still excited about presenting the need of NYC to churches here in America, and we look forward to a great year! We are also praying about God’s perfect timing for moving to NYC. Please pray that God would bring our support in and clearly show us the best time to move! We are also continuing to look for a new vehicle. We have looked at several, but are still praying that God would bring just the right vehicle along for us! Thank you so much for all your prayers. It means so much to us to know that we have family and friends holding us up before the Lord! We know that we can do nothing on our own!
