Meeting in Neillsville, WI

We were so excited to stay with Rachel Fugate (NYSET 2008) and meet her family. Her dad is the pastor here in Neillsville.

Rachel was Havilah's very first babysitter. When Havilah was only 6 weeks old in NYC, Rachel helped us out so much with her. She even watched Havilah so Daniel and I could go out to Starbucks. :) Even though Hava didn't remember her, she instantly became attached to her and did not leave her alone the whole weekend!

Rachel and her mom (We had to wake Havilah up to say goodbye)

We had to stop by the big pink elephant on the way home. Havilah loved it!

September Update

As we have been hearing so much about the possibility of a Mosque at Ground Zero, our desire to go to New York City to plant Bible-believing churches has been greatly strengthened! We are amazed at the diversity of peoples and religions that pervade the cities! Our nation has definitely forsaken the one, true God! The Bible says in Jeremiah 2, “…yet my people have forgotten me days without number.” Please pray with us that the remainder of our support would come in quickly so that we can begin our ministry in New York!

We praise the Lord that we have meetings this fall in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. We will also be able to spend some time in New York! While we are home from meetings, we have been helping with the ministries at our home church. We are very excited about High Pointe Centre and the development of an Urban Ministry Training Center, a new ministry just getting started through Souls Harbor Baptist Church. It is a blessing to help in this on-going process.

We want to finish by expressing our gratitude to all for faithfully praying for us. It has been so neat to hear from so many people that they are keeping us in prayer! God is so good!
