Urban Burden Update

Dear Friends,

We are so excited that our deputation schedule is filling up. God is so good to us! One of our burdens for our time on deputation is that we would be an encouragement to the churches that we visit. We have been especially amazed this month how the church families have been a blessing to us! It is truly a privilege to serve the Lord. We pray that we would be pure vessels worthy of His service!

Special blessings from the month of October~
We were part of a wonderful mission’s conference in Oshkosh earlier this month. It was a blessing to get to know the church family during our extended stay. We were encouraged to see their burden for missions! It was also neat this month to meet the wife of the pastor that led Maggy’s mom to the Lord when she was a teenager. She was so encouraged to see us serving the Lord, especially since her husband had just been taken home to the Lord. We pray that God will use us to win souls in that same way. How exciting would it be for us someday, to be able to meet the children of a teen that we led to the Lord!

October Prayer requests~
• We have had major car problems and will be looking for a new vehicle. Please pray that God would give us wisdom in looking for a new car.
• Pray for Havilah as she adjusts to the many different changes that come with traveling. We are so thankful that God has entrusted her to us. Please pray that we would be godly parents as we raise her!
• Pray for Daniel as he schedules meetings for 2010.

Missions Conference

We are enjoying our time with Wyldewood Baptist Church this week. The people there have been so loving and gracious to us! There are several brand new babies here, so Havilah is in heaven. :)

This morning we attended a soul winning class at Wyldewood, and then went out visiting and inviting people out to church. The evening session tonight was a special blessing to us as well. We are looking forward to presenting our ministry this Sunday morning!

Thanks so much for all your prayers!

Prayer and Praises!

Please pray for us as we travel up to Green Bay this Tuesday. We will be at Wyldewood Baptist Church in Oshkosh for a Missions Conference, Wednesday through Sunday. We are so excited to be able to stay with Seth and Molly during that time. We are also looking forward to their Missions Banquet on Saturday, because Molly is doing the food and decorations! :0)
God has been so good to us this fall. We have a VERY full schedule of meetings for November. We are so excited about the many answers to prayer we have seen so far. It is a privilege to serve the One who has done so much for us! Praise Him!
