This is a game we use to play with children in the parks...it is similar to hangman. The message at the top is "He paid the price" Then, we share the Gospel with them.

Quick Update

We are enjoying our time in Queens this week. We have kept very busy with ministry training, church work projects, and neighborhood outreach. We are working with a youth group from Green Bay this week as well. Yesterday, the youth group did face painting and balloon animals for children as we passed out VBS flyers. Havilah enjoyed that very much! We are going to finish up the week by training the team to do Gospel art and street preaching.

NYC!

Thanks for all your prayers! We had a great trip yesterday. We left at 3:30am and arrived in Queens around 8pm. The trip went very smoothly, and the car is still running great! Havilah is so excited to be here. We can hardly get her to sit still! She jumped out of bed this morning and said, "City!" We're so thankful for Mary's help with Havilah. Now we have three pairs of eyes to watch her! :) This week we will be getting settled in, meeting the NYSET members, and doing some touring. Keep us in prayer!

May 2010 Update

Praise the Lord!

We had a wonderful start to this month! On May 1^st a church in Iowa contacted us to tell us that they had just voted to take us on for monthly support. Our daughter, Havilah celebrated her 2^nd birthday on the 22^nd! Then, we finished off the month with a great meeting in Indiana. While there, Havilah was able to spend a fun day at a farm. We are so thankful that Havilah has been enjoying our time on deputation. The rest of this month was filled with work at High Pointe Centre, a ministry of Souls Harbor Baptist Church. It is great to be busy serving the Lord.

Headed to NYC!

We are so excited about spending this summer in New York! Please pray for safety as we leave for the city on June 14^th. We are so thankful that we have the opportunity to get some more training and ministry experience in the city before we actually move there.

Daniel is still working on filling our deputation schedule for this coming fall and spring. Please pray that we would be able to get a full schedule and that our support level would increase! God has been so gracious to us during our time on deputation, and we are grateful for His many encouragements to us along the way!
